PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Vaishali Chakravarty
Vaishali is an actor and drama education expert. She founded Joy Of Drama in 2015. Vaishali has trained with Manipuri physical theatre masters Sabitri Devi and Late Heisnam Kanhailal. She has formally trained in Drama & Speech and has subsequently been awarded the 'Licentiate Trinity College London’ - (LTCL) Diploma In Speech & Drama and Performance Arts. She has attended programs in performance at the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Art (RADA) and Trinity Laban Conservatoire Of Music And Dance and professional development program in drama-in-education at the Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. She attended the International Drama in Education Research Institute (IDIERI) Conference 2022 at the University Of Warwick, UK and Dorothy Heathcote Now Conference 2023 at Aberdeen, Scotland. She was a speaker at the Dorothy Heathcote Now Conference 2021 and 2022 at the Birmingham City University and the University College London respectively, Singapore Drama Educators Association Conference 2023, Italian Drama Congress, Padova 2023 and UTFORSK HVL-STA Drama Education Symposium, Shanghai 2023. Her paper titled 'My Work & Dorothy' was published in the NATD (National Association for the Teaching of Drama, UK) Journal, Issue 36.1.
ASSOCIATE PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Tom Kane
Tom Kane is an Actor, Writer and Producer from London, and graduate of RADA 's Acting BA. Tom is an experienced drama teacher, establishing 'mythologyworkshop Ltd' in 2018. He now collaborates on projects across India and the UK. More recently, he has joined RADA as a visiting teacher for Movement, Clowning, Classical Text, and Improvisation.

Vishakha Chakravarty
Vishakha Chakravarty is an Odissi dancer, choreographer and a drama education professional. She has trained in Odissi at Nrityagram, Karnataka. She has attended and presented at the Dorothy Heathcote Now conferences 2023 and 2024 in the UK. She is the head drama faculty at Joy Of Drama.

KATIE GEORGIOU
Katie is an actor from Newcastle upon Tyne and a graduate of RADA (2008). Theatre credits include Romeo and Juliet (RSC), Heartbeat of El Salvador (Rise Theatre) Ms. (RADA Festival). Her directing credits include No Exit (Sartre) and Twelfth Night. She is thrilled to be directing this exciting re - imagining of the Gandhari story.

BART LAMBERT
Bart is a RADA trained actor and singer from Essex. Most recently seen in the west end production of Les Miserables his work has taken him across Europe. Alongside his stage work he has developed a great love for folk music and takes great joy in bringing its myriad of beautiful traditions into the 21st century. He loves working with new talent and can’t wait to play a part in nurturing the next generation of actors!
